Known Issues
Chrome Users
There are at least two known bugs with Chrome and Mediawiki.
- Sometimes instead of loading a page it downloads a file: index(number).gz. This is know, there's no fix. It's annoying but users just have to click the link again.
- If you have the misfortune to have a link to a wiki page, a reference tag, and a file all on the same visual line up - the wiki page link will look like it's in sub-text. There's a fix, you can see it on a bunch of the later ARG pages I did. This normally only effects ARG pages but that's what it is if someone asks about it.

If you have a suggestion for a Boilerplate. Please let me know. Anything you can see used repeatedly for setting up pages or getting a standard style (I'm looking at you mission page.) that can be applied and filled out in the new format.
All discussion surrounding style of individual articles are moved to the boilerplate talk page, or will be moved shortly after boilerplate creation. Let me know where any discussions surrounding page layout are so I can move them.
Computer Terminals
I think we should make a type of article for these. What do you think? --Ashendant (talk) 12:12, 31 January 2013 (MST)
- I don't think we have anything explaining that and there's a few of them around. --Zephyrus (talk) 16:18, 3 February 2013 (MST)

Hello. I think we should make a category of missions rewarding these signet reward bags (like "Signet Mission"), and maybe subcategories of those for each zone (like "Signet Mission (Scorched Desert)"). I just don't know how to do the categories/subcategories stuff :-( --Einkil (talk) 02:00, 3 February 2013 (MST) |
Well since Mission boilerplating is complete(still needs some fixes but those are doable), I think it's time we started this discussion as I proposed a few days ago.
I'll divide this discussion into several sub-topics depending on each item type.--Ashendant (talk) 13:09, 8 February 2013 (MST)
Loot Bags
Einkil present your problem mentioned before here :D--Ashendant (talk) 13:09, 8 February 2013 (MST)
- Okay :-) There are missions awarding "signet reward bags", like the lair missions and a couple of other (Tyler Freeborn, Khalid in Scorched Desert, etc…). I think we should make a category of missions rewarding signet reward bags (maybe "Category:Signet Reward Bag Mission"), and maybe subcategories of those for each zone (like "Category:Signet Reward Bag Mission (Scorched Desert)").
- On a related note, I don't know if there's some empirical study out there about the frequency of signets these bags drop. If yes, we can include this info as well. If no, we can try and start our own empirical study, kind of like this one, except that there are 60+ signets so we'll need tons of data :-) --Einkil (talk) 15:47, 8 February 2013 (MST)
- Finally I just added the ways to get signets on the signet page, including the list of mission awarding signet bags. --Einkil (talk) 12:46, 21 April 2013 (MST)
Mission Items
I think we need to start adding these and start trying to make icons for those. I'll post a list of those I found later.--Ashendant (talk) 13:09, 8 February 2013 (MST)
- I've got about 90 item icons yet to upload, covering basically everything. I could upload them into Category:Unsorted Icons, for example, though not all may end up being used. - Borley (talk) 16:19, 8 February 2013 (MST)
- Is there some sort of Boilerplate for mission items?--Ashendant (talk) 17:36, 8 February 2013 (MST)
- Appears only boilerplate for weapons and talismans. I started on User:Borley/Sandbox/Template:Itembox to hopefully cover all other items, but needs more work. - Borley (talk) 18:00, 8 February 2013 (MST)

- I think 13 all up. New England/Innsmouth Academy/Egyptian/Transylvanian theatrics, Lighthouse/Dune/Moonrise/Illuminati/Templars/Dragon/Kumiho Hotel/Industrial/Streetcorner backdrops. - Borley (talk) 16:19, 8 February 2013 (MST)
- Not sure if any are on the wiki yet. As for a list, http://unfair.co/gaming/the-secret-world/the-secret-world-albion-theatre-unlocks-and-where-to-find-them/ is all I have seen. - Borley (talk) 17:05, 8 February 2013 (MST)
- Can you make the box for these type of items so I can start making these items?--Ashendant (talk) 13:11, 10 February 2013 (MST)
- Barring any further work, which it needs anyway, that is what User:Borley/Sandbox/Template:Itembox is for. - Borley (talk) 00:20, 11 February 2013 (MST)
- Can you make the box for these type of items so I can start making these items?--Ashendant (talk) 13:11, 10 February 2013 (MST)
- Ok here is a example of done item New England Theatrics, tell me if there any problems with it.--Ashendant (talk) 11:51, 11 February 2013 (MST)
Consumables
We still need to do the boilerplate on these items, taking into account the different quality levels and icons.
- Looks to be (at least for Energy Drinks, Ambrosia and Anima) one icon for QL1-5 and another for QL6-10. - Borley (talk) 16:19, 8 February 2013 (MST)
Event boilerplate
Hi. I think we should make pages for the events, and so I thought of a boilerplate to try and shape up a structure gathering every information: User:Einkil/Sandbox/Boilerplate:Event. It's a rough start, and I ofc welcome any criticism on its discussion page :-) --Einkil (talk) 04:47, 14 February 2013 (MST)
Image categories
A minor thing, of course, but the categories I have been tagging images with aren't final. If any image categories I created would be split/merged/deleted/renamed, that should be easy enough to do. - Borley (talk) 13:15, 19 February 2013 (MST)
- Can we do that with article categories just as easy? --Zephyrus (talk) 09:05, 22 February 2013 (MST)
- For modifying everything in a given category to a different or no category, that is easy enough. Things are less straightforward for partially editing a group, or editing groups of ~200+ which time out partway through(any MassEdit that results in over 30sec server activity, really).
I should have mentioned this before, but now that it's actually working, you should try getting accustomed to using it as well. Actually knowing regular expressions isn't necessary for it - I don't know them either. - Borley (talk) 03:40, 23 February 2013 (MST)

- Is the 30 sec an API timeout? Yes, I would love to finally know how to use that extension. :) --Zephyrus (talk) 09:00, 23 February 2013 (MST)
