Marianne warns the player to stay away from the bog she was investigating.

Marianne Chen: My team and I- Well, not my team per se, more like Ernesto's team.

Marianne Chen: Frank was his second-in-command, he's such a sycophant.

Marianne Chen: Was. Was a sycophant.

Marianne Chen: I held up the rear, so to speak, no the flashiest role but an important member of our three-man-and-a-woman team.

Marianne Chen: Anyway - my team was sent here to work with the Orochi to investigate "the Fith."

Marianne Chen: Couple of days later, the fog rolls in.

Marianne Chen: This massive wall, moving faster than storm clouds.

Marianne Chen: Thank God we had our suits, made us immune to the airborne agents.

Marianne Chen: Ernesto, the idiot - bless his soul - took his mask off.

Marianne Chen: His eyes just glazed over, his tongue flopped out, and...

Marianne Chen: and he started walking.

Marianne Chen: We couldn't stop him, he-he just kept walking. Right down to the ocean.

Marianne Chen: Into the water. Under the water.

Marianne Chen: Next day, he came back up.

Marianne Chen: It wasn't pretty.

Marianne Chen: I've seen it. On trees, on vegetation. On animals.

Marianne Chen: There was this raccoon the other day,

Marianne Chen: it had glowing eyes, worms protruding from its ears.

Marianne Chen: It left wet paw prints on the ground, and right away the grass and ground were infected.

Marianne Chen: Strangest thing of all,

Marianne Chen: it was like I could see straight through it, and...

Marianne Chen: and I could see stars. Dying stars.

Marianne Chen: It's not easy in this suit, but I'm never taking it off.
